Yes — every Saantha piece is handcrafted by women artisans from Jharkhand. Each piece carries the unique touch of the artisan who made it — small variations in embroidery and weave are a mark of authenticity, not a defect.

Each product page has a Size Guide with measurements. We recommend measuring your bust, waist and hip and comparing with our size chart. If you are between sizes, we suggest going a size up for sarees and kurtas. You can also WhatsApp us at +91 98992 99208 for personalised sizing help.

Click the "Notify me" button on the product page and we will email you when it is back in stock. You can also WhatsApp us — some pieces can be made to order.

We photograph all products in natural light to show colours as accurately as possible. However slight variations may occur due to screen settings. If you need to see a specific colour more clearly please WhatsApp us and we will send you additional photos.

• Cotton & Linen — gentle machine wash cold or hand wash. Do not wring. Dry in shade.
• Silk & Chanderi — dry clean recommended. If hand washing, use mild detergent and cold water.
• Tussar & Kota Doria — dry clean or gentle hand wash in cold water.
• Embroidered pieces — always dry clean or hand wash inside out very gently to protect the embroidery.
• Store sarees folded in a muslin cloth — avoid plastic bags.

We work with cotton, linen, silk, chanderi, kota doria, tussar, organza and tissue — all sourced sustainably. Each product page mentions the exact fabric used.

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for unused, unwashed products in original packaging. Sale items are not eligible for return.

Email us at contact@saantha.com with your order number and reason for return. Our team will guide you through the process within 24 hours.

Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days after we receive and inspect the returned item. The amount is credited back to your original payment method.

Saantha is founded by Suchitra Sinha, a renowned social worker who has spent over 25 years empowering tribal and rural communities in Jharkhand. Saantha is her vision to bring the craft of Jharkhand's women artisans to the world.

Saantha takes its name from Santhali embroidery — a unique and ancient art form practised by the Santhali tribal community of Jharkhand. Each stitch carries centuries of tradition and cultural identity, making every Saantha piece a living expression of this heritage.
